The Silken Windhound is a medium-sized purebred dog that is currently recognized in the Sighthound Group by the Cynological Association of Slovenia
as of March 2004 and in the Sighthound & Pariah Dog Group by
the United Kennel Club, Inc. as of March 2011.
We are an enthusiastic, dedicated group devoted to furthering this lovely, versatile breed in North America. The establishment of the Canadian Silken Windhound Society is one of the first steps toward recognition.
